bad luck. The italian team was just better than the german team, plus the german team apparently was pretty exhausted from the match against Argentina.

I thought it was pretty surprising that none of the previous corner situations resulted in a goal against the german team.

Yea, Italy was a tad better and deserved it. And they had luck anyways, Italy had the better chances as well. Still not nice to watch, seeing the others win in the 119th minute..

Though penaltys would have been hard too, seeing the quality of the italian keeper.

Anyways, the german team did very good and when Klinsmann stays, we´ll do it in 2010 :D

Aaahh I can't believe Germany lost to Italy (and Grosso, academy award winner in the Australia game, got a goal -.-)

Its the battle of the blues on Monday morning (monday morning here anyway, have to get up early and all argh), l'azzuri vs le blu or however you say it in french (cant speak french unfortunately)

Well, I've recovered from my sadness as Grosso got the winning penalty (the academy award winner from the Australia game.)

What about Zidane's brain explosion! I coulden't believe it! Had he gone nuts? The brain explosion of the century I'm sure :) (everyone has heard the rumours of what Materazzi said, the terrorist thing, as Zizou is algerian, the sister-is-a-slut thing, the spitting thing)

It was a very even game, 1st half Italy dominated, 2nd half France did. That penalty wasn't deserved though. Lol did you see the italian and french players dropping like flies? Thats what happens when you get 2 experienced teams, they dive alot.

Anyway good game, shame Italy won, Italians here in Australia were going mad and like rioting after italy won (sort of celebratory rioting) and they had tv footage of italians rolling cars and lighting flares, its embarassing to be italian lol.
