Very few would actually buy my music. I tried years ago, still have several stacks of "Fragging Fanatical" and "Delicate Balance" CD's sitting on the shelf (about $200-300 worth of them).

I write music because I love to do it and share it. I'm just glad people listen to my noise, and thanks to the Internet, more listen to my stuff than I could have ever hoped for.

My glass is half full. :)

no what i meant is the rights to your music, such as you pretty much wrote the song for me, but my band still plays it onstage. when/if i get famous oneday, im going to buy the rights from lots of your music, and u ar egetting 20% royalty, if released as a single.

Ah, you can do that now.

Pretty much you can do whatever with my music for free as long as you mention my name in credits or something so people know it was me that wrote it. I don't really care at this point about trying to make money off it, but I'll take what little fame I can get.

And if you do perform any of my stuff live, I would *love* to see a video of it.

Let me know if you need tabs or MIDI drums for reference, would be glad to help.

well the videos, i might put some on youtube when i get a new guitar, mine sux. i never liked tabs, i was playing by ear ever since christmas in grade 5 when i got my first guitar.

if i was to use you music to make money, i would of course give yoy some of the money i earned.

The solos at about 3 minutes into the song was meant to sound nasty, I got the idea from stuff like Dillenger Escape Plan. I mainly liked how the two leads intersected with each other, confusing and sensible at the same time.

I hope pirate bay guys didn't create a download/torrent of the OGG files. I specifically stated to *not* do that in the readme, and to instead download the higher quality MP3s from my last.fm site. I don't care about the MP3s being redistributed, but the OGGs were encoded at a lower quality to help keep the size down specifically for the Sauerbraten download. The lower quality OGGs do not represent the best quality sound.

As for new albums, I'm not currently working on anything new. I have been noodling around to come up with something new, but nothing has struck me for a theme yet. If I hit something that would be good, I'll start it.

i was wordering, i have music from your site Marc. and because they are MP3's i can't use them in sauerbraten, i tryed looking for a free OGG converter. does anyone have one that i can use without paying money and without having somthing that messes with the music. the first two i downloaded (MP and OGG conveter and AVIS4YOU) messed weith the music the OGG converter cut off 40% of the song, and the AVIS4YOU put the words "AVIS4YOU dear-something." so someone, anyone have any idea where to get a good free one?

You should be able to play MP3s in Sauer. The config is hard coded for the OGG extension, and I included OGGs for the size reduction.

Look up the scripting to use MP3s and include that in your own config.

where do i need to look? i have looked where all the other music has been set for cube and then moved my music there, i have tryed putting them in my own packages for music, and i type out all there is to type out. on map 4B2 there is a scripting to play only the music you want, i copyed it and used it for certan music like 14 and 7 and so on. but still i have problems with it because it won't play the packaged music i wnat it to play even though i change the scripting where in needs to be. it keeps on saying that the OGG file is not found, ect,ect.

nvm i found somthing that i missed so now i can play the MP3 files, but now i found out that some of the music files i also want to play are wma's i don't know if i can play those.
