Please post your bug reports in here.
With your bug report, please submit the following information:
1) OS: Your operating system, i.e. Linux, Windows, or otherwise and what version you are using.
2) 3D card: The 3D card you are using. If you do not know, this is printed on the "Renderer:" line in the console when Sauerbraten starts up.
3) The edition of Sauerbraten you are using, i.e. Assassin edition, CVS as of a particular date, or otherwise.
4) Error information: If you are on Windows, a pop-up message showing filenames and line numbers should show up when Sauerbraten crashes; if possible, post a screenshot or a copy/paste of this. If on Linux, post a log of the startup info from the console, including relevant errors or any info you might have discovered. If on MacOS X, please post the crash log if applicable.
5) A description of the problem and how to reproduce it. Please give as much detail as possible on how someone can recreate the problem, in as certain terms as you can. If someone else can't reproduce the problem, it is unlikely he can fix it or tell you what is wrong.

|
I just updated to MacOS X 10.5.7 (Last One), and Sauerbraten keeps crashing whenever i try to switch to Edit mode or while navigating through the menu.
I would like to know if you are correcting this issue, if you are aware of it...
Thanks

If you can - the rest of the crash log saying where it crashed would be useful. Sadly I can't recreate this crash.

Hi, I dont know why but in the new version of Sauer. there is no chat. I dont see what I write and I havent seen any other message up on screen from anyone. And why there is almost none playing the game while before there were plenty of players and servers.. I am kinda disapointed about that. Otherwise the improvements in game are great.

check your console filters, chances are you toggled the filter for chat messages off

no error message really shows, but in both game mode, but particularly edit mode, the scroll mouse only works when scrolling down, not scrolling up. i tried with different mice, and it was still the same problem... i dont know a lot about script, but if anyone else has had the same problem or someone could suggest a solution i would b greatful. thanks

Mouse wheel up could have become unbound... Try these:
bind MOUSE4 [ universaldelta 1 ]
bind MOUSE5 [ universaldelta -1 ]
Also try deleting config.cfg and ensure your mouse wheel works in other games.

Those are, of course, console commands... Type them in the console you bring up with the ` key. (Or paste them into C:\Program Files\Sauerbraten\autoexec.cfg or equivalent.)

#220: vanishing graphic |

Hallo, I have been searching for this but since I din not find solutions I write it down.
Im' using MAC OS 10.5.6 , Open GL on a MacPro with 2 GB of RAM and 2 dual core Intel Xenon processor.
Last version of sauber (trooper edition)
I'm facing some strange graphics, basically I see trough walls and objects. Seems as rendering is not correct, far away things just disappear and appear. I'ts hard to play in a vanishing world!
I guess is something related to memory, but dont understand why on my older and slower I Mac everything works fine...
Thanks for any support u can give.
Have a nice day.

A respawn point saves your progress through each campaign, however, it does not save your place if you restart the level.
