Apparently this "3rdSpace vest" (simulates being hit by bullets... O_o) comes with a game made with the Cube 2 engine! :D

You can see it a few times in the video.

"The FPS Vest is bundled with 3rd Space Incursion, a futuristic first person shooter game embedded with 3rd Space technology and developed to showcase the FPS Vest."

Yay for content-less posts.

Anyway, that's very cool, eihrul. Anybody know if the pushable boxes are the flat-physics box pushing where a box doesn't fall off a ledge except straight down, after it's completely left it? 'Cause that's the only kind I can think that it would be.

I'm kind of excited to start sniping explosive barrels to take out three or four enemies. :D

This is probably a stupid question, but I see box, barrel, and elevator entities declared in the source code, but I can't use them. Have they not been implemented quite yet?

they work.
try /newent elevator or /newent barrel
The params after creation (dunno right now during newent, but with entset you can tweak it [press DOT-key]) are:
attrib : value for..
0 : angle
1 : model
2 : (best keep it at 0 for now [tagging])
3 : speed (if elev/platf) or health if barrel (0 for default)

That's my point, MeatROme. I've tried /newent barrel and /newent elevator. It says "unknown entity type: barrel". I just downloaded CVS about two minutes ago.

Try compiling the source yourself -- I dunno, the binaries might not be up to date.

I tried editing in single player and tried to place a barrel, and like I said, it spit out "unknown entity type: barrel".
