#12796: How to create a mirror that reflects the player model? |

Is it possible to create a mirror / reflective surface that acts as a mirror without having to edit the source code?
If editing the src is required, is it non trivial for a programmer? Cheers!

There are no dynamic mirrors in Cube 2, but there are environment maps.
I believe Blood Frontier has something that can be used for dynamic mirrors, though.

Nope. As far as rendering features go, it's straight up Cube 2 with some anaglyph stuff thrown in.

Is anyone else having the problem where you save a map, and it says that it wrote the file, but when you check in the base file under packages, its not there?
I have Windows 7, if that makes a difference.

You can disable editing by *removing* this line fron the config.cfg file:
bind "E" [edittoggle]

#12805: lost berlin wall map! |

I play ctf sometimes online, and I tried modifying my map slightly (i know, sorry, it was more an experiment to see if it would work), and ended up making some terrible irreversible changes to my berlin wall map file, rendering it a flat map with no flags. Now I have to exit the server whenever it gets to berlin_wall, and i've learned not to mod the maps =). Does anyone know where I can download the original map file by itself?

if it says "NSIS ERROR" or errors similar to this, try copying the installer and paste it somewhere off the download folder it was saved in.

#12810: jump height |

I was wondering if it is possible to change how high you can jump. I have searched for hours and can't find anything. It would be nice if one could change the moving speed too. I'm totaly new to mapediting in the Cube 2 engine, but i like it alot.

Jumping can be externally augmented (from a players perspective) with jumppads. Movement speed can be altered client-side by means of /gamespeed. I would like to the docs on gamespeed but I've already done so several dozen times in as many months.

the problem in my case is the opposite. The movement speed is to fast and the jump is to high...
