You can edit in DMSP. It's rather annoying when the monsters keep knocking you around as you're trying to select cubes ...

noo. not in DMSP, but while you're watching a demo playback.

while you play this demo press E and select some cubes. You can move them however you want, but the demo will keep playing.

just tried, playing back a demo of editing worked for me (funny, I never even tested this functionality! but I can understand if there are some thing that don't work with it).

It didn't crash... but I will have a look.

If you start with a 512x512 map and make all of it except for a path along the edge solid it creates a big HOM on one side of the wall. it seems to do this whenever you turn very large areas to solid.

i tried to make a demo, but cube kicked me out on playback.
