In this case, cocomo did provoke a,certain flameswar, which makes him the cause of it. Nevertheless, zeroknight should hve acted a little more professionl by not reacting with any isult back towards cocomo.

So both players have made a mistake.
Is this enough to actually un-moderate zeroknight? If that's his only record so far, my opinion would be no; just give him a slight warning of his behavior.

From looking at the full log, it looks like it started out as just having fun typing some ownage then <[BLAZ3] cocomo> said "loser" then rather than everyone keeping there cool! Everyone got excited to flame thus by default no one person is at fault anymore!

I just said loser. And Zero reacted the way he did. Should he be a Global mod? According to the guidlines swearing is allowed but not racism.
The problem is i have been muted by Zero/Ginger several times before, Just because I called him a loser when i win from him or ask him to duel me.
Whenever i said i've been muted by zero/ginger unjustly Quin overlooked misuse of mod power by them. I don't need babysitting I just reported that zero was in clear violation of RE guidelines and i got banned for reporting it.
If he thinks I was starting a flamewar, he and ginger could've warned me but they were as much taking part in it as me. by calling me to 'suck it' n 'you suck' stuff like that.

I just ask Quin to uphold the guideline that he constituted himself

To put this into context for everyone: cocomo is consistently a disruptive influence in online games, ZeroKnight's response, while offensive, is due to a steady stream of bullshit coming from this one player. This isn't the first time they've been punished, and I daresay not the last.

Spreading your (out of context) FUD here won't help you at all. Any number of us, including myself, could have closed this topic already, but I won't. I personally think this serves as a good demonstration of how I am expected to babysit a bunch of people playing a game.

Yes, I agree ZeroKnight has a greater responsibility to behave, but fuck, even I have momentary lapses of judgement where I lash out at some dickwad who has pushed me just one step too far. If you can't say you've experienced this on the internet you're either a zombie, labotomised, or Jesus.

Seriously guys, get the fuck over yourselves and move on. It's not like you can't still play the damn game. Maybe learn how to keep your mouth shut for once so you don't attract this kind of negative attention in the future?

Personally I don't think that anything explains words like this.
If what you write in first paragraph is really true then my... FUD? (I just pasted logs about which people were talking) can be out of context. cocomo asked you for any example of his "disruptive influence in online games" and his "bullshit" and so far nobody showed anything confirming what you are saying (and looks like nobody is interested or can do it) and cocomo says that it's not truth. So kinda your word vs his word but people on IRC channel can confirm cocomo version and nobody confirmed yours. Then I don't think that logs are out of context.

@Quin There you go again without any proof. My position is quite evident by these logs, and i bet you didn't even asked Zeroknight to be not racist or offensive. Zero/Ginger are biggest disruption in the game, they forced map against voting once i was in it. If calling some1 ingame slangs like suck it or lucky shot is disruptive thn these two guys are the biggest disruption (cause they do it all the time).

Reading this, i have a few things to say. It's true that there's been a lot of shit happening around cocomo, it's like that guy is a planet of mishaps and he just attracts comets labeled "trouble". I'm not one to verify the legitimacy of past happenings, since i wasn't there to witness them, but with his history out of context, i would say that "mute" did come out way too early. IF the history i'm hearing about is true, then i guess some people ARE tired of your shit; i won't be the one to judge that however.

On another note. Since when is calling someone pakistani racist? Do you all agree that they are dumb and so you find it offensive? Calling someone by his country is considered offensive? Maybe you should start calling each other americans, for being fat, ugly and dumb. I personally find that to hold more weight than calling someone out on the fact that his skin color is black. Too many uptight people in here who don't even know why they get mad over shit like this. But regardless, nationality aside, i found it a funny reference.

I'd personally like to know why lumping all the Wazu players into a statement like "suck it, wazu losers" is different to calling him a "Pakistani". What, so we're allowed to be rude based on clan, but not nationality? As I said, I don't condone that kind of behaviour, but cocomo seriously did throw the first stone.

As for providing proof of previous encounters, I have a few demo files buried in the countless hundreds I have collected during the course of playing Galactic Edition, but I am not about to go waste an hour reviewing them all for your benefit. I believe you have wasted quite enough of my time with your stupid bullshit. Needless to say, I have witnessed cocomo behaving like a dick and trying to provoke others (including myself) when playing online, and have had to mute him on several occasions myself.

Quite honestly, if he and his friends don't stop harping on about this issue and wasting EVEN MORE of my time on it, they will ALL find themselves banned from playing Red Eclipse online, FOREVER. I will issue public statements advising everyone to ban them on sight if necessary.

I have had enough of little pricks dragging me into bullshit they start, wasting my time and stressing me the fuck out. Everyone was so worried about me not having time for development now that I have a daughter, but that couldn't have been further from the truth. If anything, it is crap like this thread that I don't have time for if I am to continue balancing development with my personal life.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, FUCK OFF AND PLAY CALL OF DUTY, LIKE ALL OF THE OTHERS. END OF STORY, NO IFS, BUTS, OR MAYBES.
