I remember years ago when Cube first came out, the author posted he was working on an RPG. There was even a sample download. Every 6 months or so, I check back to see if the game got finished.
Now, I see the game is not even mentioned on the Cube homepage.
What happened to this game? I was really looking forward to it.

Sorry.. I see there is already a thread about it here:
http://cubeengine.com/forum.php4?action=display_thread&thread_id=1
So this game was abandoned twice.. WOW.
But there is an RPG made with this technology called The Exciting Adventures Of Master Chef Ogro
and can be downloaded here:

Do you mean Eisenstern? If so, you can download a demo along with Cube 2: Sauerbraten: CTF Edition here[1]. This game (mode?) seems to have been abandoned once by Aardappel, once by the Sauerbraten community in general, and now by nerdfener. I can't really think what else you would be talking about. While it was discontinued, the Platinum Arts mod[2] I believe has an RPG mode. Most of the code from Eisenstern was adopted by nerdfencer into its own project on SourceForge[3].

I offer no support for the code, it's the old eisenstern code modified to work with trooper edition.
you will need a valid game_rpg.cfg, or else you will crash, mainly since your logarithmic bases will be 0.
