NEW RELEASE!!!!1!!1111oneone

It's been almost a year and there have been a ton of changed, of which I offer you a slightly condensed version:

* new playermodel, IronSnout X10K
* new weapon models
* new sound track
* new splash screen and logo
* 28 new multiplayer maps!
* 1 new singleplayer map
* new "protect" and "insta protect" game modes
* bots that work for both MP and offline play
* ragdoll physics
* texture blending and new flame/smoke particles for map editing
* in-game movie recording and also PNG screenshots
* new engines features like ZIP archive support, better grass, pre-compressed DXT1/3/5 textures for faster loading, fixed-function shadowmaps & dynamic lights, low cost blob shadows, particle culling, faster shader loading, revised post-process effect system, and more
* support for custom server ports, server passwords, public key crypto, and server-init.cfg for easier server configs

Juts one thing, is water RSAA or Shader quality? I know the water went better when I did either of those..

#36: Trooper Servers?

I've been checking off and on ever since about 6pm PDT (-8 GMT)Monday and there still is only 1 or 2 public servers, and the one CoE server kicks anyone who has a ping over 100 which is the majority of players, so effectively only 1 server and it's usually in coop edit mode.

When will we start seeing Trooper Public servers?

I currently have both Trooper and CTF installed so that I can still play being all the servers are CTF version.

If I didn't reinstall CTF, I'd be hooped for MP play.

Honestly, the CoE server is annoying as hell. They used to run the same map over and over automatically (urban_c) and now are kicking for anything over 100 ping. The game is playable on high ping!!!! >-(

Still only see two servers.

Then a bunch of [Older Protocal] and then a whole smack load that says waiting for response for eternity.

When I load CTF version there is 3 pages of servers.

Any ideas why I would only see 2 servers on Trooper release?

Try downgrading to an older version of Catalyst, and see if that helps. The newest Catalyst drivers seem to be very buggy.

Anyone else have problems loading CTF edition maps into the Windows version of Trooper Edition. They work on Trooper Edition on my Mac at home, but not in the PC version at school. I put the .ogz and the .cfg for the map in the base folder, and typed
/map *mapname* into the console, but it just loaded a blank map.

I feel brilliant.

I totally forgot to refresh list from master server.

Keep thinking it does it once per session but it doesn't.

Once I refreshed, all the Trooper servers showed up.
