Hello all... this thread is for discussing features you would like to see in cube, and in particular those that you find most urgent. If lots of people have the same urgent requests, I may give it priority to be implemented.

Is it possible to add elevator's to sauer?
I think it could work similar to the
doormodel, i don't know?

Some People put a lot of time into makeing a real good map that every one likes, So i think there should be a way for the person that starts a vote to change map, That he would be able to /sendmap and others /getmap or automadicly send it to them.
OR if just making the server and a ffa for Ex. do /sendmap. ONLY when off coopedit the person that started it can do the /sendmap, And when off coopedit i think it would be wize to auto /getmap
The point to this is so that people (The Jerks) cant mess up other peoples game play, And so when u want to play off of coopedit so when a new person comes in you want have to swith back and forth between ffa and so forth from coop just so u can send it, Thanks

I have talked to many others and think that a mode where you could assualt a fort or castle would be awsome. You could have two teams one attacking and one defending. To win the defenders would have to reach the carrot inside the fort and touch it. A limit or something could be set so the defenders could win by killing all of the attackers. Or some other way. The game should dtart off with a couple of second for each team to gather weapons and armor, then the assualt would begin. The defenders could get special weapons and the defenders as well. One side could start with armor or sumthing. And the carot should randonmly spawn within the fort. That way defenders would ahve to look for it instad of immeditly knowing where it is on evry map, also the defenders would also have to look for it to defend it well. This is one neat idea that would make a later edition cooler than it already is. I have the full support of many other players inculding MIKI,ROCK.N.ROLL, and ASSASSIAN.

I agree on this. It is pretty much like UT2004's Assault mode :)
And current capture is some bit like Onslaught mode in some sense;)

i'm sure there is a method of catting available, i just havent figured it out yet, i press the "T" key and i type stuff but all i see is "[my name]:" then nothiing, i also frequently see other player's names displayed in the same format, if someone could help me out, that would be gr8!

screenshot in the console. Open it in paint or whatever once youve done that (the screenshot will be in your Sauer directory) and save it as jpeg, then upload it to www.imageshack.us

My friends and I have been playing Sauer since it was Cube, but we have recently felt like there is something lacking.
We think we have narrowed it down to the fact that bodies instantly disappear when the person dies. This can be very useful for slower machines on bid servers, however, we find it to be rather annoying because in the midst of the fast paced action, someone will just disappear and then your not sure what happened.
This would probably be my first and last criticism on Sauer.
(Basically: is there no way to let the body just fall to the ground or add some kind of dissolve effect so that we know they died)

There are gibs, and anyway, the death anim is the same in Cube :)
Oh and the green text that tells you how much damage was done? :P

In Actioncube you change your skin, make that in sauerbraten and make a lot of skins !!! ( at least 32 ^^ )
And when a player die make that you can take his ammo.
If you add an Attack mode, add vehicles, an Attack mode without vehicles ... :S
More weapons !

I know there exist's bullet trails but what I want to suggest is that bullet trails should come out of the gun not from the center of the screen,Otherwise reposition the weapons to the center.
