Please post your bug reports in here.
With your bug report, please submit the following information:
1) OS: Your operating system, i.e. Linux, Windows, or otherwise and what version you are using.
2) 3D card: The 3D card you are using. If you do not know, this is printed on the "Renderer:" line in the console when Sauerbraten starts up.
3) The edition of Sauerbraten you are using, i.e. Assassin edition, CVS as of a particular date, or otherwise.
4) Error information: If you are on Windows, a pop-up message showing filenames and line numbers should show up when Sauerbraten crashes; if possible, post a screenshot or a copy/paste of this. If on Linux, post a log of the startup info from the console, including relevant errors or any info you might have discovered. If on MacOS X, please post the crash log if applicable.
5) A description of the problem and how to reproduce it. Please give as much detail as possible on how someone can recreate the problem, in as certain terms as you can. If someone else can't reproduce the problem, it is unlikely he can fix it or tell you what is wrong.

I've no idea, cause you mentioned you did try a fresh install.
However i have no idea why all this would occur. Similar problems to yours i got only rarely, happening out of the blue and were gone when i'd restart the game.
But this, it's different. Plus it's on a mac so i can't really base any of my usual theories on it.

Oh well, that's a bit of a pity.
Anyway, if I find a fix to this, I'll let you guys know.
Thanks for the help and take care.

Here is my 2 cents: Since you are using Lion Server, it may be possible that it doesn't support or doesn't have the necessary drivers/frameworks/other that is needed to property compile & run GLSL code (as Suicizer noted above). I don't know how to fix that, but it may be a good starting point.
As for the models, I get that randomly on my Windows machine but it's never been consistent. You may want to make sure that your user settings for the models didn't change (see ~/Library/Application Support/sauerbraten/).

"you must hold RCTRL and LCTRL to toggle editing in single player modes"
You've broken it by added mods, and whilst in that state we can't help you by floundering blindly in the dark... So first thing is to reset your preferences and start with a fresh install.

I just did a factory restore on my laptop (I had other software that needed fixing). Seemed to solve my problem. Anyway, thanks for your time.
Cheers,

#864: water bug in latest svn |

1) OS: Windows 7-64. Service Pack 1.
ATI Radeon HD 4600 series.
SVN version, revision 1433 built with Visual Studio C++ Express.
Screenshot:
https://picasaweb.google.com/100507423399450376473/Random#5659011344856887346
The artifact above happens in every water in every map. Using \"/forceglsl 0\" fixes it. FYI, the version 1412 works fine, so the bug is in a later revision to that. I\'m trying to determine which one is the revision that introduced the bug but it may take me some time because my internet is slow :)

More details:
3.3.11079 Compatibility Profile Context
Rendering Using the OpenGL GLSL Shader Path
And I meant that 4133 is broken and 4112 works fine.

And again i'm noting that the problem has existed for a while, and 4124 made it surface for you because it forced glsl on.
The bug's origin is yet unknown.
Just setting the facts straight :P

Hey all, I just got a new laptop about 2 weeks ago, and whenever I\\\'m in edit mode in Coop-edit random lines just appear and disappear everywhere. It\\\'s like skytexture, because you can see through the entire map down to the skybox. Here\\\'s a screenshot:

#872: Weapon Changes |

Hey, Im not sure if anyone noticed this, but say if I fire the rifle, and then change weapons to the pistol or any other weapon, I have to wait until the Rifle is done reloading before I can fire another weapon.
It\\\'s not a big issue, but it can get you killed in certain situations.

Seems as it is the way it should be. Sounds like you are just wanting a way to gain an advantage by quick weapon swapping. I don't think this qualifies as a bug though. Possibly learn to strafe if you are getting killed while reloading.

You failed the math test 3 times? lol.
Anyway, what you describe is normal. Otherwise it would be possible to instant fire all weapons without waiting for the reload by swapping rapidly.
