Mac OS X instant quit out of sauer

It seems that ever since one of the updates last week, the engine will not run on OS X. It will compile. The launcher will launch the engine, but it will only be on screen for less than a second, and then exit itsself, without warning. OS X doesn't even recognize it as an 'unexpected quit' or whatever. I was wondering if anyone else was hacing the same problem.

could you delete the folder "src/xcode/English.lproj", and update the cvs tree with a checkout (not update)?

I had to do an update since the files were missing afterwards.

The launcher now works as expected (and looks great! thanks for the Server-Options, too!), but sauer right after launch. But since that's not a problem with the launcher I won't check out what happens.

Well, I can, yes, but I am not sure if it's my fault (compiling) since I did this in a hurry, only to test the launcher.

if you really want to test the launcher your easiest bet is to switch to Release-Deployment build style. this will build the full deployable disk image. mount it, the launcher should work in there....

i assume you have modified the nib file using interface builder. copying and pasting objects to another tab breaks their connections. you have to click on them wait for a sec until they are drawn in bold and then drag them to another tab. this is also explained in the documentation of interface builder.

What i'm doing with the launcher is.. on the first tab, i'm putting a map selection scroll list, and a 512x288 picture preview of the map, so people can pick a map at the start, instead of using the 3D menu...

512x288 is 16:9

Works fine, having the extra server options is good. The first tab view is getting a bit crowded... it feels like a... like a java app... lol...

Some very minor fixes needed: theres some odd mixing of font size/style on the first view, and a couple of the fields on the server panel don't resize nicely with the view.

i don't believe it's THAT bad yet ^^
i liked the idea of moving the player name to the first tab, but don't think those 2 graphics options are enough to justify an own tab...

hm i don't see any? if you mean that the box titles are smaller than the standard font, there is nothing we can or should do about that?

hm do you mean that all of the 3 text fields in a row should resize vertically? i don't think you can do that...

also when switching from 3rd to 4rd tab and back one of the text fields is fucked up. don't know why or how to fix it ATM ;)

Undefined Symbols Errors by Renewing all the references under the "Other Sources" folder in the Xcode Project File Hierarchy.

However, after that is done.. there is an error:

two things that should be looked into:
• why does compilation fail if we set SDKROOT_ppc to the 10.3.9 version as it should be done?
• why does compilation fail if we use shared/pch.h as precompiled prefix header?

There is one thing that could be improved: The window should remember it's last position or at least appear in the middle of the screen; on my MBP, it keeps popping up top left.
