Sigh another website to learn the deals...
How do you even download on Steam?
Nevertheless, it seems like you have some licensing issues on your Sauerbraten projects.

There's just a "subscribe button", when you click on it it directly downloads and installs it. And you can uninstall it whenever you want by unsubscribing.

#14994: Tesseract problems |

Hi guys, I didn't think this was a programming error so I posted here.
A while ago I got Tesseract after it came out and I really liked it compared to Cube 2. When my old Tesseract build mysteriously broke, I went to Tesseract's page at tuxfamily.org and downloaded the tarball. When I tried to extract the files the extraction failed with the error 'truncated gzip input'. If this is broken is there another way to get Tesseract?
Thanks in advance, Sniperz.

I'm sorry, ignore my previous message. It seems like the tarball you downloaded got corrupted. Try redownloading. Otherwise you're gonna need an SVN client.

Thanks Q009 for your response.
I've tried redownloading the tarball several times with the same result, so I guess I'll need a SVN client. How can I get one? I thought that downloading the tarball downloaded the latest SVN repository, but I don't know to much about this.

Yes, tarball is downloaded directly from SVN repository. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work for you.
You can google around for an SVN client, there are many of them, it's easy to find one.
If you're on Windows I'd recommend you TortoiseSVN :) It's easy to use

#15002: Banned from VAQ for being Mexican |

hello people,
I just wanted to put this forward and see what you think. I love killing time on Venice servers. A few weeks ago I found out I was permanently banned from VAQ's Venice server for no reason. I happened to find some VAQ people on a random server and asked what was wrong. Here is what they said:
<a href='http://postimg.org/image/rjoyl3hr9/' target='_blank'><img src='http://s10.postimg.org/rjoyl3hr9/VAQ.jpg' border='0' alt="VAQ" /></a>
Is VAQ run by Beate Zschäpe? What do you think?

either he was joking or there has been some sort of problem that has led them to autoban all suspected IPs originating from a specific country.
while the latter is unlikely, you wouldn't believe the boredom of some people who will exhaust entire proxies just to come back online and make a mess, only to be banned each and every time.

Hello every one my problem is that when ever I try to open the sauerbraten_2013_0.dmg that the down load on the home page gives me, a window saying that the dmg could not be opened. Granted I am on an old computer running osx 10.6 or so, I can run red eclipse, with the setting turned down, and a good ping, with no lagg at all. Has any one else had this problem? And can any one please help?

Is Quad down or being serviced right now? (6:18pm UTC) I can only access the frontpage, most other pages come up blank or come up patchy.
I was also having trouble with Quad 12 hours ago while posting the new node for Warzone Ch.2

#15009: Custom collision in models (Obj, md5..) |

Hi.
I'm trying to add a new model(map model, static) in the game.
But at add i see a box collision, in the wiki, i see 3 commands ("mdlcollide" for box collisions/"mdlellipsecollide" for ellipse collisions /and "mdlbb" but this one what make ?
I created a sphere and at use the "mdlbb" make a auto collision using the model shape, but dont make a good sphere collision, looks like a cubic collision.
I like add the model and other model for the collision or the same is this possible ? (or best model detection of "mdlbb")
Thanks.

As far as I've seen, all Cube collisions are in rhombus (cube) shape forms as the mdlcollide reads the boundingbox for the model to produce a collision boundry.
What you can easily do for manual collisions is use commands
mdlcollide 0
then in a map config
skytexture 0
then add your model and build a geometric mockup of the model textured with sky texture to rest inside the model as to create a 'custom collision'
Don't understand what I mean?
Look at the map 'Justice', specifically at the circular table.

Ok Thanks.
Yes i see that.
But my idea are create a movable models,
(elevators and others) with the collision following the model.
Is this possible?
Thanks.
