And it takes a bunch of files from my previous Sauerbratens. For example, I had several maps accidentally overwrote in the Spring and Summer editions. Now, they are still overwrote. Also, my scroll wheel doesn\'t work for either extruding cubes, zooming in, or switching weapons. How do I start off on a clean slate?

Well, anyways, I just copied the defaults.cfg file into the fps_game.cfg file, and the binds are back to normal. But how do I get the maps back?
The maps I have overwritten are:
urban_c
metl4 (sux for me)
fanatic_castle_trap

When in game, type /shadowmap 0

it might be /shadowmaps 0

#9770: Linux Server Config.cfg???

Is it possible to have the SB linux server run through a Config.cfg (That sets the Servername, Maxplayers, and Mastermode..)?

ATM My Server is starting in rc2.d (runlevel 2) But to stop it from running as root I made a script that executes
[
PARAMS="-c12 -o1"
su - MYNORMUSER -c "cd /home/MYNORMUSER/sauer ; screen -AmdS Sauerb ./linux_server $PARAMS"] (PARAMS is a var with -c12 -o1...)

But to set the name I have to use -n"Bla", and I can't use any "" In the script that way.

How can I set the Server to load a specific map & gametype on start (like instagib & nmp8_d)?

#9778: Cube (yep, the old one) runs slow on a particular map

Hello, everybody.
A few days ago I started experiencing lags at one particular Cube map — frag. The lags are not severe, but nonetheless hinder playing. This is very strange, because:
1) A week ago everything was OK.
2) All other maps run fine, even the crazy babel++.

So now I'm baffled. Any clues?

I\'ve played the Cube/Sauer series of releases since 2005 and so far, everything in the game has gone smooth. Now, at the last lan party I was at we decided to play a Sauer match, and I found to my dismay that my full screen was very, messed, it would say that full screen is \"1\" or on, yet i could see the window top and sides and the very tip of the start bar, it looked really odd, then i tried it in Cube, Assault Cube, and even some non cube games like freeorion and freeciv, same things. So what happened? Any guesses or solutions would help.

Hello, i am new so please bear with me.

I need some information. I understand that Sauerbraten needs a 1ghz cpu but i am running a 1.4ghz t-bird with 512mb ram and 256mb geforce 6200 agp x8 - at first the game would not load - then after installing the latest drivers from nvidia it loaded but the fps is too slow - the game is jerky to the point that it suffers a time lag of +5 seconds.

In your experience is my system up to it? Is there an opengl test i can run in windows xp - similar to glxgears in linux?

that card should be fine for sauer I have a 6200 265mb agp 8x as well make sure u update your drivers

note if your 6200 is a 6200-Tc or 6200 Td variant
make sure the agp aperture setting in the pc bios is set to at least 64 mb 128 mb would be better but will use more system ram

Make sure you have shaders set to 0 in the options menu. You'll probably also want to disable the water effects, grass, and reflections, etc.

Decreasing your resolution can also help dramatically.

Basically just disable everything that makes the game pretty and your fps should go way up.

I\'ve read the documentation and the wiki, and I haven\'t found anyway to host a private server, I want to play with a few of my friends (privately) is there any way to have the game show up on their client only if I know there IP or at least have passworded rooms?
I\'m on the Mac OS X assasins edition
