I get this error every time I load a map. The game itself starts fine, but when I start playing it loads the map and after a second it crashes. Anyone know why, and how to fix it????

Is there a way to delete a few way point lines without deleting all the waypoints on the map?

type '/newent flag #'. # can be 1 or 2. the 1 or 2 decides what team's flag that it is.

Thanks.
Also, how do I install new maps? The directory looks nothing like the one from the CTF edition.

For me it's Sauerbraten/packages/base, but that's only for a Windows.

For osx run sauerbraten and in the startup window, push the "User Game Files: [show...]" button - it will open Finder pointing to the correct folder (which is /Users/<yourname>/Library/Application Support/sauerbraten/)

Either something else is using the port or a firewall program is blocking its creation.

Yes, I found that folder but the only maps that were in it were the maps that I had just created. When I opened a map file, the older version of Sauerbraten was launched.
When I place new maps into that folder, I cannot load them in the Trooper edition.
I think that my CTF edition folders somehow became mixed with my Trooper edition folders.

Sooo... You've got multiple versions of Sauerbraten installed? No wonder you're having problems.
Maps are supposed to be loaded with the /map command (e.g. "/map metl4"). You're doing that, right?

check for the -q parameter in the BAT for where your "home"-directory is .. or create one (wherever you like) and pass it via -q to have your personal modification media seperate from the (clean!) installation.
If you've bound "*.ogz" to open with a specific app .. you can modify that - try following : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307859 (if you're on XP .. or look for appropriate stuff for your actual OS)
Having multiple installations of Sauerbraten is usually not a good idea - unless you really know what you're doing ;-)
