Would it ever be possible for this game to have vehicles? I don\'t know anything about how to do this, I\'m just putting the idea out there.

It's been suggested so often (search the forum- as vehicles were available in one of the mods) that the stock response is: "you're already in a vehicle, now shut up and drive."

I had looked in the forums and didn't see anything about vehicles. But I didn't look too hard, either...

#12362: Very slick engine |

Hi, I'm starting some preliminary editing at the start of a FPS project. I've been impressed with the CUBE2 engine for some time and enjoyed playing a few Sauerbraten games a while ago.
But now that I've really started diving into the code to start editing I'm quite impressed with how well this is all written. I can't say anything about how it renders compared to other professional engines, but I can say that the self documenting style and ease of duplicating base features (like adding new commands) is simply brilliant!
Thanks for your guys efforts!

I get this error every time I load a map. The game itself starts fine, but when I start playing it loads the map and after a second it crashes. Anyone know why, and how to fix it????

type '/newent flag #'. # can be 1 or 2. the 1 or 2 decides what team's flag that it is.

Thanks.
Also, how do I install new maps? The directory looks nothing like the one from the CTF edition.

For me it's Sauerbraten/packages/base, but that's only for a Windows.

For osx run sauerbraten and in the startup window, push the "User Game Files: [show...]" button - it will open Finder pointing to the correct folder (which is /Users/<yourname>/Library/Application Support/sauerbraten/)
