grep the code for COMMAND and see how it's used...

void xis(int *x) { conoutf("x=%d", *x); }
COMMAND(xis, "i");

---
/xis 42
"x=42"

I know, I've tried that. gcc complains for some unknown reason.

Er... double post again... Apparently the syntax of something else was messing it up. Thought I had looked there.

Ok, should be the last of my problems once I find what replace clientcom.

I would say that they don't think Wouter is Cool.

It's not censored...
If it was, it was probably because it wasn't a particularly enlightening post.

Isn't this whole conversation basically bloat? I didn't censor the post, but I kinda want to now. Little asides like this make the forum a lot less useful.

I did it, because as SheeEttin said it wasn't an enlightening post. Useless thread bumping is annoying, especially to those of us who frequent the forum. It got uncensored by someone else after he bitched about it. I mean, seriously, if you've got nothing useful to say..

#12233: That annoying pink skytexture box...

I was wondering if there was a way to fix it? It's causing my whole map to flicker while I'm in edit mode...

#12234: Lighting glitch?

by bigronnie3 on 06/08/2009 17:09

Hey. I have a problem with lighting.

a while ago, i entered edit mode, and pressed K to patch the lighting, but now i am experiencing problems:

Every texture in the map is now black, except for those that are directly next to a source of light
The strange thing is that i can fix a large chunk of this, simply by selecting a cube, scrolling in, then scrolling out (removing the cube, then putting it back) : it just fixes the blackness, makes it \"fullbright\" , and then i can carry on
I was wondering : is there a way to completely disable lighting/lightmaps, and have \"fullbright\" when you are not in edit mode?

(I have enabled \"fullbright\" in the editing menu , but that is only present in edit mode)

Thanks for your help

Quin or MeatROme, usually. But they'll probably see your post here.

For clarification, http://quadropolis.us/feedback is broken. ("cannot send more than messages per hour".)

It must have gotten reset during the move-around. Issue has been fixed, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

#12240: Quadropolis bugs

by N1NJ4 on 06/10/2009 05:35

I've found other bugs too: eg. I get "Access denied" when going to my own script http://www.quadropolis.us/node/786

Also you can't see past the first page of tracking items for a user, eg. this page is blank: http://www.quadropolis.us/user/908/track?page=1

Also I can't get to this page, though I can't remember how I got there: http://www.quadropolis.us/flexinode/utable/2?author=N1NJ4
