Yeah, I can connect to the servers stuck in the "Waiting for response" mode, I just can't see any info about them.

Beginner question:
After quitting SP game (Private Stan Sauer): how do I resume the game at the point where I left it after starting Sauerbraten again?
Any help?
Thanks

http://sauerbraten.org/docs/game.html#sp_respawning
"Instead of savegames, sauerbraten employs a novel system based on respawnpoints (not to be confused with checkpoints, which are just an annoying version of savegames)."
There isn't a way to save your progress the way you want to.

#11200: some script problems... |
by Razgriz

i downloaded a script named mcp.cfg from quadropolis. things were missing, a typo or two, so i went on fixing it and adding a few things. i added admin, game modes, some more commands and sliders etc. now problem is that for an unknown reason, the tabs will not appear at all! i tried the normal version from the site and the problem still exists. i decided changing the tabs into guis, but with no success, since clicking on the buttons for them either closes the window, or opens up a blank gui. can anybody help me with this? the script seems find from all view, yet i'm not experienced, and this doesn't seem to be a normal problem...

/particlesize 1
That comands can lower visiblity of entities on screenshots...

There are also bots in the excellent Blood Frontier mod, but not in the main Sauer engine.

If you're just taking screenshots in editmode, change the gamespeed to 10 once you're in position. Leave editmode, take the shot (after everything is cleared/particles are populated), pop back into editmode. Fairly simple, works fairly well.

Why not just pick a spot in editmode, pause (default key F1), turn off editmode, take the screenshot? When it's paused, you don't have to worry about doing it before you start dropping (even if at a low speed).
Only drawback is that if you stop editing while paused, it still draws sparklies (though this can be easily fixed bu looking away before pausing.)

Strange enough: 61 degrees celsius, no overclocking, cleaned the computer's insides two weeks ago... and THIS appears today.

No, I don't think it would...
Didn't even occur to me; I've modded the source so particles are rendered in editmode. :P
Max of S2D: it looks like it's associated with the bumpmaps... (or maybe your ironsnout/mrfixit couldn't hold it any longer :P). Try messing with your graphics settings. (And make sure that texture hasn't been corrupted.)
