Aard, eihrul, anyone with some extra time, do you think you could help me out?
I had to wipe my HDD to some recent virus issues, and I lost the progress on my old maps. O_O
I was able to ressurect the .ogz and .cfg files, but I get the "malformatted header" error. Could anyone go through and fix these for me? Or am I screwed?
The files are here: http://shadow516.googlepages.com/MalformatedHeader.zip

The files look pretty scrambled. Those HD recovery tools only work if you recover stuff IMMEDIATELY after you delete it or you're really lucky.
Otherwise, some of the disk space that the files were using likely got overwritten by other files and basically made them garbage now.

CDR, USB memory stick, USB external hard drive, a secondary hard drive in the same PC works fine too. No reason to lose your stuff nowadays. :)
