Hosting a server. ICS problem

Hi i am trying to host a server and i want to do it on a computer that is not the gateway in ics. Also, if i host it on the gateway i still cant play it on this computer. It works on the gateway but not on this computer. I am using suse 10.0 .

What about going DMZ for the system running the server application?

I found a TEMPORARY solution. I host it on the gateay and lan connect to the server
