Server Hosting.

Hello.
Since I might start hosting a server, i\'d like to know how to change the Map / Gametype without doing an Ingame vote, and also a way to talk to players through the console, even if there is such a thing. Just like on Q3, where you can type in the console.

I need to know:

1) How to change map on my server, without voting

2) How to change Gametype on my server, without voting.

3) How to chat through the console (If there is a way)

1. Set a master password, claim master with it ('setmaster 1 password'.. or is it the other way around?). Then go mastermode 1 in console, and vote, and it will instantly change to your vote.

2. Refer to question 1.

3. Nope, can't do that.

Remember to open ports for Sauerbraten as well.

So,
To set a Master Password, i edit the 'Server.bat' and add:
'setmaster 1 *password of my choice*'

What did you mean by "Then go mastermode 1 in console"?

Argh.. read the docs next time that is a super basic question.

To set the master password you add -pYOURPASSWORDBLABLA to server.bat.

IN GAME, when you are connected to the server, claim master privilages in the console of the GAME with setmaster 1 yourpassword (if that doesn't work it might be setmaster yourpassword 1, one or the other)

THEN to be able to force map changes put mastermode 1 into console.

AND THEN, read the docs (the readme.html file ffs) so you don't need to ask a question that is already answered somewhere else.
