Thanks, these look nice nice, but are not ready to go into sauer, but I believe there are programms to turn panoramic images into 6-sided boxes as sauer uses them.

makkE, even so it won't look right, it does not show the sky vertically up, its just a panoramic set of pics. Although they do look VERY nice :)

No, they are actually 360° you can see it on the alien map.Don´t ask me how that´s possible to turn into a 6 sided box, but it´s possible (lots of math heh).
I remember nieb once made a skybox from a panoramic image like this, but it envolved lots of googling, and a mac emulator iirc.
