I Cannot figure out how to edit these weapons.

by York on 06/27/2006 03:05, 6 messages, last message: 06/28/2006 18:45, 1033 views, last view: 04/15/2024 19:46

I have read the Wiki section on it, and I have read the thread that it links to. But, I cannot find the file I need to edit. Am I missing something that should be staring in my face, or has something changed making that outdated? I would greatly appreciate any help on this subject. Thank you.

You'll have to be very specific in stating your problem before anyone can help you with it. In what way would you like to
edit the weapons?

I cannot find the file "weapons.cpp" anywhere. As for what I would luike to change, I would like to edit the damage, fire rate, type of projectile fired (bullet, rocket, grenade), amount of ammo it can hold. Me and a friend are making a "mod" I guess you would call it, where we are putting new player/monster models, new weapons, and I just need to know how to edit the weapons as listed above.

you need to edit that file in the src dir, then compile cube from source.

No offense, but if you can't even find weapons.cpp, I doubt you can modify the code.

Guess you're heading to the "compiling cube" thread next...
