Um, whenever i use cube 2/sauerbraten it kills my computer and locks the whole thing up. Is this because it uses DOS and doesn't have a RAM cap? Also, whenever I do multiplayer the other players will move for about 5 seconds, and then just freeze in place. Could someone tell me what is wrong? And finally, my computer will lock up when I try to open up certain maps or make a complex one.

Here are my specs for reference:

2.20 Ghz Pentium IV
256 megabytes of RAM
64 megabytes of video RAM
and a 40 gigabyte hard drive.

Could someone please answer my questions?

Thanks!!!

Please be more helpful than that, Koi.

It sounds like a driver problem or damaged hardware. Does the machine behave correctly otherwise?

Sauerbraten does not use dos, and is not a ram hog either. A couple important things you left out of your pc descrition...what video card are you using, what operating system are you running, and is this a laptop?

no its not a laptop.....its a slightly older dell desktop that behaves perfectly fine otherwise......its graphics card is a 64mb shared RAM intel graphics accelerator. I didn\'t download the ZIP file on the site.....might that have anything to do with this??
