You really need to put FAR more info than that...how do you expect anyone to know what you're problem is?
What OS? What video card and driver version? Is this the new release?

Version: Saurbraten Occlusion edition Last release
OS: Windows XP SP2
Video: Riva TNT 2 32mb
Driver Version: Forceware 6.14.10.6693
CPU: Celeron 2800MHz
Not high-end:) configuration. This comp only for work.
After loading map, console shows object load status. And engine crashes.
k_rpg1 deads after - packages\med_chand\tris.md2
etc...
Only 5 or 6 maps load good.
PS: Sorry for my english.
I learned english in school, and forget more part:) Sorry....

Probably becuase your video card is too old. A GeForce 2 MX is really the minimum.

its probably running out of video memory in a non-recoverable way. I am afraid you're in for an upgrade... your card is about 8 years old.

That was a great card in it's time, but 32mb's and all the features it lacks for todays games...it's just too old :/

Doubt its a video memory issue, my laptop's radeon 7000 has only 16mb video memory and sauerbraten never crashes (although it only rockets along at 10fps on most maps)
it is most likely a rendering thing, with the age of that chip! upgrading drivers *might* help.. but still an upgrade is in order.. if you have an old system, get a second hand geforce 5200 of ebay for $30 or so..

I'm sorry, I'm probably having the same problem as Manfred had... and I can't find the autoexec.cfg file anywhere.
In the game, on the menu it says options/for permanant changes, see autoexec.cfg...
but when I select that, all it says is: 'unknown command: for' at the top of the screen.

Just make a text file, name it autoexec.cfg, type in any commands you want to be executed, and save it in you /Sauerbraten/ directory. As far as I know, theres no way to do this from the game menus.

the \'oqmm 0\' worked over here on a Geforce2 GTS.
What exactly does this parameter change?

im crashing for all SP maps and many other maps (rpg and whatnot), and its not my comp, it can take an 8 O'clock stroll through Ironforge at full settings, and runs Half-Life 2 beautifully, so whats wrong?

Just put oqmm, with no /
And put a 1 after
Soo, oqmm 1 is what you need to put :)
