Saur Models - Idea

by HHe3 on 04/30/2006 20:39, 3 messages, last message: 04/30/2006 23:37, 1195 views, last view: 04/14/2024 09:41

Well as you can see Saur and Cube don't have any models to offer.

I was thinking how about some one made a load of unskinned models that can be used for a variety of different things.

For example if some one made a model that looked like a packet of rolo's. it could be skinned to look like a packet of fruitpastals or smarties.. the possibilities are endless.

My idea is by moddelling simple theatrical objects that can have a lot of different uses.

These are the models I was thinking.
Rolo's Packet
Picture Frame (three different sizes?)
Cup
Plate
Bag of sweets
Placemat (at dinner tables and such)
Cupmat (like at pubs and such)

Those simple models could have a wide range of skins and mappers could easily make their own skins for them.

Anyone else think this is a good idea? It will add more theatrical items with less work for the current modellers involved with Cube/Saur.

Yeah my mistake that was a typo was ment to be \"many\" not \"any\".

Anyway ignore that now; who thinks it\'s a good idea?
