this is the site you want. lots of amateur maps, and not-so-amateurs too.

cant you read previous posts?
also, the map was rather bland, mainly because you failed to put any lights.
see here for some examples:
original: http://suprfile.com/get.php?id=ckz66c
with basic lighting: http://suprfile.com/get.php?id=cl0z4x
another screenshot of new lighting:
http://suprfile.com/get.php?id=cl2rl8
try putting some lights in.
also you forgot to use the remip command. press t then type "/remip" without the quotes then press enter
this command optimises your map. yours severly needed it.
its ok for a first map, next time, submit it to www.quadropolis.us

It could also use many more items, since there's really only enough ammo for two people, and the map is much too large for that. Other then that, not the most original idea, but I recall a similar cube map being alot of fun in insta, so play value should be high.

It could use alot more items, and less open space, unless it's in insta. I dislike alot of open space, but that's just personal preference. I Really love the way you used secret passages. very cool.

I don't really like the idea of people uploading to quadropolis with "newbie" maps...I suggest posting them here first, then get suggestions, and sometimes even find bugs. Nothing should be released without some testing, and the first 5 maps a person builds should imho just be deleted and never intended for the public to play. If any new mapper has to ask if a couple sqaure rooms with 1 texture on everything is a fun map, then chances are that person will never be a good mapper.
Look at the maps that are around from the mappers that have worked with cube/sauer over the years...you should know the standards to aim for, just from playing other maps. Don't settle for less while building.
I've been mapping for all kinds of pc games since 1994, and I STILL build entire maps and delete them...sometimes it's just better to start over with the knowledge from the previous builds. When I first started building with sauerbraten, I built and deleted 6 maps that I never let anyone see. Back when Cube first came out, I did more than that.
The best mapper critic should be yourself.
