ignore boilover, he's a lost cause.
1. Cube has reached it's final form, though there are mods which will continue to be released.
2. Only the 4 guns and the fist are available in Cube.
3. No, not unless you make a map with ammo sitting on top of the spawns.
4. Yes, Sauer is (more or less) playable. Because it is being so actively developed, things tend to break temporarily and then get fixed, at a rapid clip.

Can anyone tell me how to get the damn thing to load. I am on Debian, I have downloaded this thing from about 5 sources, and I, for the life of me, can not figure out how to luanch this program. I know there has to be a way to run this game. I mean, it IS a game meant to be played right?
If anyone has any clue how to get it to run, please let me know. I've clicked on every icon, tpyed in every file name, combed the folders, man, I miss Windows.

Try running the file cube_unix from a terminal and see what output you get.
To run it, cd /where/cube/is/installed and then type ./cube_unix

If it's not already an executable you'll have to chmod +x it.

#! /bin/sh
cd /home/grogan/cube
bin_unix/linux_client -w1280 -h1024
I just start it like that... it has no choice but to work. I make a menu entry in whatever window manager I'm using that points to that shell script. It's important that the binary is launched from the cube directory so it finds its data.
