My computer stop on this game :/

my computer stop on this game i have that computer:
AMD Athlon 2000+ 1.67 Ghz
GeForce 440MX with AGP8X 128 MB
256 RAM

what shuld i do?
my computer are frozen or somethink and i must reset computer :(
what should i do please help me !!!

if you want help with your problem you are going to need to supply more information. saying that the "computer are frozen or somethink" is not enough to be able to find a solution.

on my old computer i had a problem with a VERY dim monitor (i start cube and it's very dark, i have to use /gamma 300)

how does it freeze? does it freeze with a picture of the metl3 map or does it just give you a blank screen? does it reboot by itself?

I find it funny that cube lags sometimes on my CPU even though I have 2.20GHz with a ATI Radeon 9600 that can play FFXI at full potential, Farcry at Medium with 800x600 resolution, and Unreal Tournament 2004 at full. lol I guess there is something special behind the cube engines simple look that I'm not seeing.

far cry at medium? i play lan with my brother and (strangely enough) my sister (who celebrated the other day when she finally killed an alien in halo) and my bro plays on highest (1024x768) and he has an athlon 1700+, 768mb ram and a 9600XT. my sisters computer plays on the same settings as you and she has a sempron 2600+, 512mb ram and a 9250. somthings up with ur pc if it goes slow above those settings...

no it's not, i run at 2.08ghz, and i'm fine. I compress dvds, play UT at 1024x768, record music, render 3dmax videos and design flash games, everything. And at the moment, I've only got 512 mb of ram (the rest has gone bad, i'll need to get more soon. =P)

Hmmm... Then I don't know really. I scan the hell out of my system. Maybe it's because of my harddrive space that could be the culprit.
