Problem with Ati rage 128 pro in XP |

When i run cube.bat the game is very very slow with 29 fps. Everyone with any idea to resolve this problem?
athlon xp 2500+ on asus a7n8x deluxe with 256MB ddr ram , S.O. Windows Xp SP2, graphic card: Ati rage 128 pro ultra gl AGP

That old video card is just not enough to play cube very well. You have a good cpu/motherboard....consider upgrading that old video card. Also, 256mb's of system ram is a windowsxp requirement to run, but it won't run very well with less than 512mb's.
If you're getting 20+ fps range, then you obviously have that card running about as good as you will get it imho.

Yep, ram and a video card will be a relatively cheap upgrade for youy system.

I'd recommend a gig of ram and a Geforce Fx 5200(but lots of people will probably disagree and I like Nvidia for no reason).
The card should cost about $40 and I'd say about the same for the ram but I'll check...
I can't find a stable price on the ram.

I have problem running Cube on my ntb. Game shows 30 fps, but it barely moves. Is the fps value shown in the game really accurate?
