You say nothing about your system. We can't help.
- Cube or Sauerbraten?
- What operating system? (Windows, Linux, Mac)
- Hardware? (processor, videocard, memory)
- Which map you tried to play. Some maps (specially in Cube) are very slow.

Wtih all this info, we can try to help, but without it, we can't and won't help.

ok, right click on your desktop and choose Properties. then go to the Settings tab and looke for Display:, under which will probably be the name of your video card.

close that and click on Start. Right click My Computer and choose Properties. on it's first page will be some general info on your computer, at the bottom being Processor and Ram. So now you can tell us video card, processor, and ram.

and it should be pretty obvious which map your playing- choose one from the Esc menu and test it out.

Sounds like a driver issue.
Here, on a nvidia 5600 every driver between 45.23 and
77.12 causes cube to run extremely slow.
Could be diffrent on your machine.
Maybe you should try to update your driver, or revert to an older one.

Sounds more like a troll than a driver issue.

I think cows ate your opengl thing. Next time, don't let the cows near opengl.
