you will need something to open the .tar.gz file, it is a standard format that most uncompressing programs can open (i think StuffIt for mac can?)
then there is a cube-osx.tar.gz inside, that gives you a cube.app directory. not sure exactly what you do with that, i assume you would know as a mac user.

c'mon this should appear as a normal application that you should just double-click
if not, either your osx installation is gone very bad, or your tool to extract the tar.gz is broken (mac os x 10.4 tiger can extract it natively)

you have to install the SDL library to run cube:
http://www.libsdl.org/release/SDL-1.2.8.pkg.tar.gz

sorry you will ALSO need SDL_image & SDL_mixer:
http://www.libsdl.org/projects/SDL_image/release/SDL_image-1.2.3.pkg.tar.gz
http://www.libsdl.org/projects/SDL_mixer/release/SDL_mixer-1.2.5.pkg.tar.gz
this should probably all have been included right into the app

The game works but I can\'t multiplay :/ The game crashes when I try to use the Server Browser or when I try to update the list from the master server.

Last I checked, networking ran fine in Cube. I'm also a Mac user. Where did you put cube.app? It should be right in the Cube Directory, instead of in cube/bin like the Win32 binary is. If that's not the issue, then I'm stumped, unfortunately.

Also note that some people(like me) have problems with the texture "packages/egyptsoc/v096-01b.jpg" on BSD like systems(FreeBSD, Mac OS).
I'm not sure what causing it(maybe an SDL bug?), but backing up the file and copy another, simulair looking texture, to the folder and giving it the same name as the 'wrong' texture works...
