Could someone tell me how to make slopes on the roof. Is it possible? Does it work with arches too? Can you help?

Go into textures if windows and change there.
If you have linux load the bridge into a 3D graphics program and change the coulour, copy and paste.
Open cube and Wala!

To make slopes on the ceiling, or arches, you press 'I' instead of 'H' to create a ceiling heightfield, then edit the vertices just like a floor heightfield ('8' and '9').
To change the texture on a bridge you can modify entity property 3 like so:
/entproperty 3 1
I have a key bound to this (as well as to -1) so that I can scroll through the textures. This works with any mapmodel, and some of them look cool with different textures (just about anything with a stone or sand texture looks like a statue)

to change the slope of the ceiling you select the ceiling, then press I to make a ceiling heightfield, then press 8 or 9 to change the slope.
to change the texture of a model you stand by the entity and type "/entproperty 3 1"

Z is how high, Y and X are how far. All 3 numbers can be from -128 to +127, but they show up as 0-255 in the HUD (note to self: write bugfix for this if I can ever compile cube), so remember 255 is -1 and 128 is -128.
oh, and dont forget to put SOMETHING on the ground to mark the pad's location, unless its supposed to be a secret. there is a jumppad mapmodel but i think its only good for really sci-fi maps, I prefer a simple texture change to something eyecatching.
