multiple problems

I just downloaded this game and it seems great. But i have a few problems.
When I start the game it says:

WARNING!:cannot use overbright lighting, using old lighting model!
could not read "servers.cfg"
Could not read map packages\base\met13.cgz

And also when i click find servers it crashes my computer. Im wondering if anyone can help

You can ignore the warning line, it won't stop Cube from working properly.

for the other two lines, be sure you start Cube from the main Cube directory, not bin or bin_unix.

If you're using windows, launch the CUBE.BAT file, if Linux launch the cube_unix script.
