The port of Cube created by Intel for their latest mobile cpu & 3d chipset has been uploaded to sourceforge. You can get it in the files section as usual here:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=91993

Some (older) screenshots are here:

http://cubeengine.com/cube_intel_pda/

And the hardware you need to run this is available for example here:

http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/axim_x50v?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs

I actually tried to get this running on a ipod touch once. if i remember correctly, there was too much intel specific code to even compile it.

the iPhone is 600mhz. It runs a cut down version of osx. It has OpenGLES,

Man, if things like the Iphone get just a bit more power, the new versions of sauer can be put on it.
I wouldn't be suprised if it began becoming pre-installed.

600mhz? Thats only 100mhz slower clock speed than my celeron from 2001! (It sucked)

Now compare the sizes and requirements of your Celeron-based box with that of the iPhone, and you'll see it's rather impressive (and they just came out with a faster iPhone, too).

That's my exact point. Plus, my rubbish old Kyro gpu kept overheating.

And if the iPhone overheats, then Apple have a serious problem on their hands. I can see the iPhone's spontaneously combusting now (or at least burning people's ears)
