The port of Cube created by Intel for their latest mobile cpu & 3d chipset has been uploaded to sourceforge. You can get it in the files section as usual here:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=91993
Some (older) screenshots are here:
http://cubeengine.com/cube_intel_pda/
And the hardware you need to run this is available for example here:
http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/axim_x50v?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs

#130: Rhino Monster do not display!? |

Do one of you guys know why I find a completely white Rhino monster in Cube for PPC? I checked the skin but didn't find anything wrong in PACKAGES\MODELS\MONSTER. Except that the picture format is not the same as the one of other monsters (not 256x256!). I also checked with the one for Desktop PC which own same monster files than on the PPC version.
Could one of you guys who manage to edit or create new monster models please post a link where to grab them? ;-)
Many thanks in advance for any help.

Yeah but I mean it's a skin bug in my game! I really don't know why it is the case...

weird. i haven't seen that before, but i doubt it's because of the skin proportions. powers of 2 run faster, but a typical proportions have never given me trouble

That would be really nice if soneone could kindly share any other new MONSTERS with me. They may be created for any other CUBE version (PC,...). Many thanks in advance!

If your looking for .md2 "monsters" go to polycount and check out the quake2 player models. There are many there to choose from. If you want a monster to have a weapon, choose one that has the weapon "built in" as part of the player model. As far as I know, cube and sauer do not support seperate weapons models/vweps.
http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/
You must also convert the skins from .pcx to .jpg format, and the skin size must be a power of "2" (like 128 x 128, or 256 x 256).
Good luck with your "monster hunt".
