Attention mappers and modders: Cube Content site is online

Hey. For the past month, Snieb and I have been working on a Drupal-based content-community site called Quadropolis.

Cube.snieb.com

The site allows users to upload maps (with a screenshot and description) and creates a discussion thread for each map. Users can also give the maps ratings. We've a full slash-style commenting and moderation system set up that allows moderators to control posting and push big news to the front page.

Also, Mods, Scripts, News, and Editing Guides can be uploaded to Drupal and optionally pushed to the front page (special permission is required for mods and stories/guides). The same system of rating and commenting is there.

I hope everyone will use this site - it solves your hosting concerns, and should save people from the difficulty involved in searching the mapping forum or general forum here on cubeengine.com

Please note that this site isnt' intended as a replacement for this forum - we just hope that Quadropolis will provide a more effective venue for discussing Cube content, leaving this site free for discussing the engine itself.

When I tried to upload my bot(this should be under the map section right...?) this error appeared:
"Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) in /home/usniebco/public_html/cube/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 31

We're still working out some kinks in the system.... that should be a mod anyways, I think.

Because mods are often very large, we have a system where ppl need special permission to upload those (Snieb's space is limited). I've given your account that access.

I already found good grunts but cant decide what of the 2 grunts to use.
