Cheating on the servs?

Well, after not playing Cube for almost 6 months, I decided to return to Cube today. I got on the servers as usual, played a few games. Soon, with about 3 other people playing in Tartech, a player connects known as Ugly_And_Bald. A few minutes after he connects the land is suddenly being editted, trees and other such map models are being created, the map a complete mess. I just quit soon after being fed up with it. I was just wondering how this could happen since it was NOT in coop-edit mode and it was online.

That was not a check or hack as such; it was a bug in the Cube client. I have since described it to someone who knows how to report and deal with such, and I will refrain from dropping trees if it happens again.

yea, that happened to me. I kept asking, "Who the hell is hacking?!" it was weird... btw the guy who came on before it started happening was "unnamed" -_-
