custom maps... why?

how come i never see any custom map servers?

wot is the point of making or downloading custom maps?

Is it possible to create a map in maya,3ds max or Gmax, if so where can I download a plugin and if not what do i need to do to create one. Any source or links around here ???

about the rules, i think the mode name is explicit enough, no?

tip: it's in standard Cube 2004, not an external mod.

The only cube and the only one i use is cube 2004 and with the linux fix(i use windows XP PRO Tough)and i dont use QUAD Cause it is a Beta so i dont know WTF is wrong unknown Mode Name i cant prove much more then this about why i am not allowed to use mode 12.

Now i know what is the MOD berserker Mode cool i liked it in Doom Classic the Berskerker PowerUp but then the QUAD is even cooler 8)

i made a map where there is a horde of baauls, ogres, nights and a few hellpigs (but theyre easy to kill) and a set of stairs that leads up to a sniper platform with tons of ammo and a quad. i also made a multiplayer map where you have two bases and you have to infiltrate the other base.

custom maps belong in the editing thread, there is no way to have bases in cube because either team can spawn at any playerstart, so you can't have real seperate bases..

custom maps are so easy to make in cube that theres too many of them . Theres nothing special about it since you cant really do anything in them . But sp maps are still good

There will never be too many of them. And making very good ones comes from imagination and creativity, why should the limiting factor be a hard to use editor?

Well, you can... contemplate, edit or deathmatch in. That's a bit of what they were made for :)
