please use the exsisting "sauerbraten developement thread" next time, thereĀ“s no point in opening a new thread for every little question.

Maybe if we would show what we can do with cube on a much larger scale, the developers would be more motivated to work on it.

I've looked at the respository, there's is one file that's updated 8 days ago, and then there's -a lot- of files that have only been worked on 3 month or 9 months ago (don't remember the exact number).

But really, why do you want sauerbraten? For the game? Also, stupid... Aardappel, sauerbraten, what's next? Applepie? Strawberryjam? But they don't go with aardappels, hmm... What about calling it "mash" instead, so, mash'potato', also, it sounds like 'mesh'! I'm a genius! (no I'm not)

There's no schedule for sauerbraten. I made it an open source project partially because I don't have a lot of time for it, and I wanted the cube community to be able to carry it further if they want. Sofar that has been mostly Gilt. If he doesn't work on it, and no new programmers do significant work, then it won't progress, simple as that.

*this is a joke, we shouldn't really... in case anyone missed that..

I might be interested in developing some parts of it later. I'd especially like to create the next minimalist scripting language for cube. :)

This may sound like a pathetic question to you guys, but how to bring up the console? I found no section in the readme.html describing this.
