Interview Questions

I am writing about Cube for a magazine article and can't seem to get a hold of Wouter(aardappel) as all the email links are broken. Is there someone here knowledgable enough about the project who can answer some simple questions for me? Thanks,

No, it probably wouldn't really be proper for anyone but Aard to answer any interview questions. Cube is really a one-man-show. Pushplay and D.Plomat seem to have a pretty intimate understanding of the code, but its Aard's baby.

well, im sure Gilt, You, Sleepwalker, Spentron, >driAn<. mitAman, and makkE (as well as pushplay and diplomat) could answer some questions. Most of the "core cubers" (those who have been part of the community for a while) probably have a pretty good understading of what the project is about- the "cube way" as its been called.

I think it would be good to have CUBE and Aardappel written about in a gaming magazine. Aard deserves alot of credit for making CUBE and perhaps an interview would bring more people into the CUBE community. I love this game, but we really need (IMHO) more SP mappers pushing the envelope of this great game. I enjoy SP mapping, (5th map is on the way), I just wish more people were into making SP maps. I feel so alone :(
There are many good people that contribute to CUBE, I just think we could use more of them.

Yes, that is a very good thing.

There has already been good articles on Cube, but most in technical magazines/sites, due to it's very original engine.

So now we begin to have reviews in gaming magazines too and have many gamers spread the word :)
