you have a wrong version of cube or you have compiled it yourself (which will end up in a different protocol as well)

this file can be unpacked with winrar! in case you run windows.. just unzip it and start cube.bat

I downloaded the 2004 version and I still get that message.. it says

Probably gonna see a few of those anyway, but shouldn't be all servers. Try doing an "update from master server"... you did overwrite the old one properly right? If not sure delete everything first.

Is there any possibility that this error message will show up when exe file is broken by virus, or anything that change the exe file size?

If you want to check it, cube\bin\cube.exe is 148 KB (151,552 bytes), May 22 2004 11:52:48 AM .

ell, when I did an update master server list, it all went blank. Everything gone. But no real loss to me, I didn't play online much ayway.

Still got my UT2003...
