How do I get ambient light back when making maps?

After creating maps they have ambient light. Some operations remove the ambient light. How do I get it back?

do you mean the fullbright?
/fullbright 1

Sorry, I did read ...just didn't understand. Anyway, thanks for the answer. I was entering /fullbright = 1 ...didn't realize the "=" was unnecessary.

Thanks,

ye in most languages or editing e.g, you normally type the command then "0" for off and "1" for on. Just a lil' tip there :D

I just think that he didn't realize that it was a command, not a variable... (because in alot of games, the "=" is there when it is a variable, and isn't there when it is a command [like in JK2])
