Access to Console?

This is a dumb question, I know.
But... How can I access the console?

For example in multiplayer should be nice to change the "unnamed" to something else, with "name newnickname"... where's the console?

Backtiq Tilde. The ` is backtiq, the ~ is tilde. And its the same for every game you've ever played.

T also works, as T is for talk, and talking and commands are the same, except that commands start with /.
