Maybe you should investigate the contents of cube-osx.tar.gz first.

don't forget to install SDL and SDL_image frameworks ... or Cube can't be launched on MacOSX.

I\'ve installed SDL and SDL_Image, and yet Cube\'s Mac OS X executable still won\'t start up; it just bounces in the dock, and then crashes. The error message is telling me:
\"Link (dyld) error:
dyld: /Applications/cube/cube.app/Contents/MacOS/cube can\'t open library: @executable_path/../Frameworks/SDL_mixer.framework/Versions/A/SDL_mixer (No such file or directory, errno = 2)\"
What am I missing?

Yea, I figured that out a few seconds after I posted (when I reread my post).

hi folks!
just testet ccube on my new 1.33 g4 powerbook. it runs smoothly on this machine, BUT:
suddenly i could not quit the program, it seamed my return key was remapped. i could navigate through the menu but could not exit. somehow i could quit the program (option-command-esc), but my key board was fully remapped, with only numbers being available.
i restartet my pb, but at the login screen, the keyboard was still wrongly mapped. i couldn´t login!!!!!
for some strange reason, while still waiting at the loginscreen (thinking about what do to), it worked again.....
now i´m a bit nervous, as you might be able to imagine :-)
has anyone else experienced this behavior?

I tried the previous version on an iBook 933mhz 14" and it worked perfectly. In 1024x768 the frame rate averaged 30-40which is not very good, but good enough to play. No keyboard problem. I'll give it a try on the newer models soon. Which model do you have? 17 previous rev, 15 or 12 new rev?
