Hey does anyone know how to compile this with Dev-C++. I have been trying to and can\'t. Plz do not start saying things like \"You should get VC++ because it\'s the best\".

anyway, I dled dev 4 about a month ago, and while I probably got the wrong version, it seemed to have a few stub files in it. Best bet is to either use mingw by itself to compile, or else I think a free version of VC is being offered now...

I'd also like to know how to compile my modded cube using Dev C++. I tried just compiling the file "main" but that didn't do anything. :(

Either
1) Use mingw
- OR -
2) Make a Dev-C++ project for Cube
It seems that otherwise, noone's really interested in it. I guess mingw is just enough for everyone.

Does anyone have any step by step instructions for using mingw to compile cube, or VC++ instructions to compiling cube? I desperately need them..

Some time ago i made a project file for VC++5 to compile the 2002_10_20... probably by searching the forum you'll find a much more recent version to compile the 2003_12_23 version.
To compile with mingw, someone posted a link for a 2003_12_23 modified to compile with mingw...

1) Download the mingw-friendly source
2) Unpack it
3) Go to src folder
4) Run "make"
