Running server behind a nat

is it possible to run a server from behind a router or a nat.i want to run it but when i go to set up a server it says found master server adn then it tell me tht it cant ping me.also the ip address it gets is somewhat different as for mine is it possible to do port forwarding n make it run.

i did read the manual but the thing is when i run the dedicated server it shows my address on the master server list but it says it cant ping me coz its takin the wrong ip address.it shows the ipaddress of the other server like my proxy at the isp.isnt there a way to make master server ping back on the ip address i specify..thnx for the help..

Sounds like you're port forwarding to the wrong computer.
