Good 3D modeler to use for Cube Engine and Cube Engine 2

Hi Hello

I am new and I began to study the cube engine 1 and cube engine 2 for making opensource games on Linux and FreeBSD.

The main thing now is, I am interested to learn to use a 3d modeler on linux to create 3d models to be use in Cube engine 1 and Cube engine 2. At the moment i am using Maverick Model 3D. Any suggestions or any 3D model program (in linux) suggested ?.
