I can never understand why Tesseract got rid of Sauer's gameplay xD The older versions which were compatible with Sauer were perfect. Or at least just keep the Sauer maps and fast movement. At least this makes Tesseract perfect for gameplay modders :)

Sauerbraten is already Sauerbraten. There is no point in having another Sauerbraten, as Sauerbraten is a better Sauerbraten than a not-quite-Sauerbraten. Is that tautological enough?

In answer to your question, yes. But I am wondering, would a Sauer-compatible Tesseract really be worse than Sauerbraten? I didn't mean to start a flamewar; just wondering.
