edit my name and good server?

Hi i am D00m my english is bad i know.Iam german and have a question how can i edit my name in the game under what option?I cant find anything.And can anyone tell me a good server also a permanent server?

ypu type "/name D00m for your name, and for the server just look around in the server menu intill you find on u like or one that has the double ogoro fix

or you change line 4 in the autoexec.cfg in the cube directory. where it says: name "blahblablah" //<--change!

Generally i use
gameserver.happypenguin.org,
godzilla.uib.no and cindy.coldmoon.net, because they're often very populated ;)

But anyone should be fine, probably the ones ending in .de will give you a better ping in germany... just look at the 'Permanent servers' thread to have an idea of the hardware and bandwidth behind the name...
